Q + A

Questions? We've got you.

Everything you need to know before your first class, and a few things our regulars ask too.

Getting started

I've never done Pilates. Will I know what to do?+

Absolutely. Your trainer guides you through every session and no experience is needed. We recommend starting with an Open Level class, which is beginner to intermediate with options every step of the way.

Is EPP for me?+

If you're ready to start showing up for yourself, yes. You don't need to be fit, flexible or experienced. No matter your level, we have a class that will work for you.

What is 28 Strong?+

Our 28-day intro program for new clients, built for the woman who has tried everything and stuck to nothing. For $199 you get a group studio induction, eight trainer-led reformer sessions (two a week), weekly check-ins with a coach, our EPP nutrition guidelines and free child minding. Find out more.

What if I start 28 Strong and don't love it?+

The only risk is the first week. Do your induction, goal setting, first two sessions and week one check-in. If you still don't love it, we'll refund your remaining three weeks.

Classes

How long are classes?+

Every class is 50 minutes on the reformer.

Which class should I choose?+

Open Level is the perfect place to start. Strength uses heavy springs, dumbbells and timed blocks of work. Strength Sweat adds bursts of cardio, the jumpboard and props. Core + Control uses light springs for balance, range and a serious core burn. Mums + Bubs is for mums and mums-to-be, and Longevity is strength-based Pilates for women over 50.

What's the difference between Strength and Strength Sweat?+

They're two different classes. Strength is heavy springs, dumbbells and timed blocks of work until fatigue. Strength Sweat keeps the strength blocks and adds bursts of cardio with the jumpboard and props, so bring a towel.

When is Longevity on?+

Longevity runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30am. It's strength-based Pilates designed for women over 50.

Little ones

Can I bring my kids?+

Yes! Free child minding runs at every Mums + Bubs class, plus our Friday 10:30am Open Level class. Little ones on the move hang out with our child minder while you train.

Can I come to Mums + Bubs while pregnant?+

Yes, Mums + Bubs is for mums and mums-to-be. Let your trainer know how far along you are so they can tailor your options.

Before you come

Do I need grip socks?+

Yes, for hygiene and to help your grip and balance. If you don't have any, grab a pair in the studio before class. Members get them discounted.

What should I bring?+

Comfortable activewear, your grip socks and a water bottle. Coming to Strength Sweat? Bring a towel too.

When should I arrive?+

Please arrive 5 minutes before class starts so you have time to get set up. If it's your first class, feel free to come 10 minutes early. Please don't arrive more than 15 minutes early, as your instructor is still preparing the studio or finishing up the class before yours.

What if I'm running late?+

If you're more than 5 minutes late, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist, so make sure you arrive on time.

Is there parking?+

Yes! We have a large carpark onsite, so parking is easy and you won't need to walk far.

Booking + memberships

How do I book?+

Book through our timetable or the Momence app on iPhone or Android.

Can I drop in without a membership?+

Yes! Click on any class on our timetable to book a one-off class for $34, or a one-off Longevity class (over 50s) for $28.

What memberships do you offer?+

Bronze (2 classes a week, $50), Silver (3 a week, $69) and Gold (4 a week, $78). All are weekly direct debit with a minimum 4-week commitment. Compare memberships.

Can I pause my membership?+

Yes. Pop your membership on hold any time, which pauses your weekly debits. The minimum hold is 7 days. Just reach out or chat to us in the studio, and the earlier you let us know the better.

What happens if I miss a class?+

Unused credits roll over for 30 days, so you can catch up when life settles down.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Please cancel at least 10 hours before class. Cancelling within that 10-hour window counts as a late cancel: members are charged $10, but we'll return your class pass to your account so you can come another day. If you don't show up at all, it's a no-show, and you'll be charged $20 and lose your class pass.
